How Does One Prevent Eexplosion of a Shaker Baghouse? Learn First-Hand
On the photograph is a shaker baghouse dust collector we manufacured after an intense dust load. Each collector is designed to handle a certain dust load. In this case, the dust load turned out to be higher than described and no vibration cleaning of the baghouse was performed. As a result, one of the baghouse’s bags was torn. It's common that operators don’t organize technical inspection for filters and don’t appoint responsible persons for the task. Of course, that is easily handled, but it takes time and money. So read the instructions carefully and designate people responsible for handling equipment.
