Torch-Air production company delivered a biofilter to a landfill site to clean it of the unpleasant
odors, flows, and gases forming at the dump.
Due to the large level of air contamination, a filter is installed which is connected to a wet scrubber and an absorber.
Biofilters effectively handle various organic bonds. They can be installed at any sites with unpleasant smells and harmful admixtures of everyday and industrial origin, including radioactive substances. They're actively used in the food industry, at agricultural and animal husbandry enterprises, as well as garbage processing plants, sewage stations, etc.
The basis of biofiltration is neutralization of organic bacterial aggregations.
