TORNADO Fixed-Bed Scrubber Installation

This project presented unique challenges due to the limited space available for installation within the galvanizing line, necessitating a compact design to ensure seamless integration into the production environment.

The wet scrubber was engineered to fit within specific dimensional constraints, allowing it to be transported into a closed room where it was subsequently assembled and soldered on-site. Given the corrosive and highly active nature of the environment in which the scrubber operates, it was constructed from high-quality polypropylene. This material choice ensures durability and resistance to degradation, making it ideal for cleaning acidic environments.

Inside the scrubber, advanced mass transfer packing, including Pall rings and a droplet collector, enhances the efficiency of the scrubbing process.
