Description of Adsorption Filter

Carbon dioxide adsorber filters are used to purify the air from carbon dioxide in reservoirs containing clean water or at the outlet of reservoirs with chemical compositions (acids, reagents, salts). Upon request, we can manufacture filters for other types of pollutants and dust as well.
In production facilities that use clean water, it is essential to prevent any contact with organic compounds (e.g., CO2) during storage to avoid oxidation. Air adsorbers for reservoirs with clean water are installed on the breathing valve to purify the air entering the tank.
The filter is mounted on the reservoir's breathing valve and can be installed either directly on the reservoir or on another surface adjacent to the reservoir.

How It Works

The CO2 adsorber is attached to the tank via a flange. Air enters the filter through a corrugated surface where the adsorbent is located. As a result, pollutants remain inside the adsorber, while the purified air is directed into the reservoir with the liquid.

The filter can purify both the incoming air into the tank and the air exiting from it. That's why it is also referred to as a breathing filter.

Construction and Structure of the Filter

The design of the adsorption filters for industrial use is straightforward and includes the following components:

Air containing carbon dioxide enters the interior space of the housing from the atmosphere and passes through the adsorbing cartridges, where it undergoes purification from carbon dioxide. The purified air then enters the reservoir. The CO2 gas analyzer indicates the carbon dioxide content in the purified air. The adsorbent has a limited service life, and once it no longer purifies the air from CO2, it needs to be replaced.
