Portable Dust Collector Description

Filter for a single workstation with three cleaning levels
PASSAT ventilation filter device was designed for dust collection and air cleaning (G4 cleaning class) during the performance of such operations as polishing, cleaning, welding, etc.
PASSAT can be used for removing abrasive dust forming as a result of metal cutting on abrasive cutoff machines. PASSAT is easily moved and installed in locations where cleanup works are performed.
PASSAT air filtration unit is moved on four wheel supports, which allows the dirty air exhaust operation to be arranged in the location they are needed.

Two-stage spark protection

How It Works

PASSAT possesses a three-stage dust collection system
On the first stage, filtered air from the operation zone passes through the spark damper grid and ends up on the clearing slab which is designed to halt heavy dust particles (included in package according to order), which fall right down into the box.
Then the dirty air ends up in the packet cassette performing cleaning. For the fourth stage, it passes through a corner filter (included in package according to order).

Filter Design and Arrangement

Ventilation filtration device PASSAT consists of a frame, a liftable and turnable exhaust device (bag), a fan, a pocket filter, a flat cell filter, and upon request it can be packaged with a corner filter for super fine cleaning.

A dust bucket is provided in the lower segment of PASSAT. The bucket must be cleaned of garbage as necessary or as the filth level increases.

On its face side, the installation is equipped with a control door for maintenance of the filters which is rigidly locked in place using special clamp handles. The filters are installed in special directions which ensure that the cabinet is rigidly locked in. All opening elements of the device (door, bucket) are connected to the frame via a garbage concentrator which ensures that it's hermetically sealed. Filtered air exhaust takes place via an outlet nozzle with a built-in distributive grid installed on the inner part of the device.

The installed liftable and turnable exhaust device allows for finely dispersed dust arriving from the cleaning works zone to be captured in a 6-10 foot radius from the device.

The pocket filter elements are easily replaced when they become dirty and can be packaged along with the device as an additional option.
