A dry scrubber is a hood with a mesh-pad droplet eliminator installed.
The gas enters the structure, where it is retained on the mesh-pad, collects, and the droplets fall downward under the force of gravity, usually being discharged into a tank.
If the contaminated flow contains additional fractions, the system needs to be flushed 1-2 times a week. This can be done manually by removing the droplet eliminator and rinsing it under water, or by using an additional set-up with a pump tank and irrigation system — simply opening the valve, and the system will clean automatically.
