The Blizzard bag filter MOBIL is the most compact, mobile baghouse. Its delivered in assembled form. It works with practically any level or type of dust. The well-thought-out design allows the filter to be spaced compactly while the progressive and modern filter materials clean the air up with an efficiency of up to 99.9%.

How it works

How does a Blizzard Bag Filter MOBIL work
Contaminated air enters Blizzard through an air pipe (or a gas pipe) into the dirty chamber, after which the dust particles settle onto the bags while the cleaned air passes through the bags and enters into the clean chamber, after which it exits the filter outside with the help of a fan or goes back into the facility.


The Specifications depend on the package elements. For each client, we create a project based on a detailed survey about the production site and the nature of the dust. Each table parameter can change based on the client’s request, production site, and common sense.

Gas movement scheme in and out of the filter
Dirty air arrives into the dirty air chamber from the facility or machine. A special damper plate is installed in front of the bags, which stops a portion of the dust and sends it right down into the dust accumulator hopper. Consequently, the load on the filter bags reduces.

After that, the dirty air passes on to the bags and dust particles settle onto the bags while the clean air continues up into the clean air chamber and leaves Blizzard outside or goes back into the factory.

Flat Filter Bags

The filter bags are the basic filtration element. The Blizzard bag filter MOBILE bag consists of a non-woven material imposed on a metallic frame.
The use of flat bags in the device allows the size of the dust catcher to be reduced.
The bags can be manufactured out of the following materials:
• Polyester;
• Met-Aramid;
• PPS;
• Material with an anti-static effect.
Advantages of flat type bags:
  • The flat, short bags impulse regeneration process stands out with its softer, more even pulse impact on the entire area of the fabric.
  • If flat bags and round bags are to be compared, when flat bags are used, the length of the bag reduces under conditions of the same filtration area.

Baghouse Management

Smart automation control: a guarantee of uninterrupted operation

Control of the filter is performed with the help of a controller or remote control. This system operates in a closed cycle but can be reconfigured depending on the client’s needs.
We offer the filter fully packaged with an automatic control system, analysis, fire extinguishing, etc. In the standard package, a temporary controller is installed, and a Siemens controller can also be included in the package, depending on your needs.

Air Cleaning System

The periodically filtered bags have dust get “stuck” on them, which increases the filter's resistance. In order that the system works without interruption and without any variations in pressure, the bags must be cleaned.

The cleaning occurs in the following way:
  1. On the side of the clean air chamber are air pipes that go from the air system diaphragm valves. These valves are installed on the receivers that the compressed air is located in, which is used for the pulse jet.
  2. The air is submitted from the compressor to the receivers. It is not included in the package elements. The valve works periodically, the air is submitted through the valve into the air pipe and is distributed from the air pipe with the help of the atomizer inside the baghouse.
  3. The filter bag is shaken and blown on and the dust falls down into the hopper accumulator from the filter bag.

Pulse Jet Cleaning System Package Elements

Compressed air receiver
It is the receiver that accumulates air for the pneumatic collision. If there isn't enough air, the degree of cleaning will fall, the wear on the filters will increase, and the filter's performance will fall, since the filter’s aerodynamic resistance is increasing. There is a connector on the receiver to the compressor or to the general factory compressed air pathway as well as a crane for pouring of condensate. If Blizzard is not installed in a heated facility, we recommend a moisture and oil separation system, as well as heating and air warming.

Air pipes system
They are either metal or plastic. Everything depends on the gas and temperature that the Blizzard filter is cleaning. The nozzles are installed on the air pipes for more effective filter element cleaning.
Air valves
All valves are certified. Our valves are specialized for filter equipment air cleaning systems.

Management of the regeneration system is done using a special controller that configures the quantity of impulses and the frequency of them.

Differential manometer (by order)
Then the bag cleaning can occur not only over time but also by the degree of the bags’ “contamination”. When the bags fall, the pressure in the filter chamber changes and the manometer submits a signal to the controller to implement cleaning. Also, the differential manometer will show an accident if one of the bags gets ruined.
