Dust Collector Description

The Vortex Vibro OP is a pressure baghouse with an open frame. Cleaned air immediately enters inside the facility from the bags. It is intended for filtering very light types of dust, is air-permeable, and has a tendency to form fibroid webs, such as timber waste, paper dust, etc. It is the most straightforward filter to use. It requires no special programs and all one has to do is connect it to a network.
Dust load of up to 30 ppm
The round bags installed in the filter are suitable for operating under conditions of coarse dust contamination.
High operating air temperature of up to +536 ˚F
The filter works with air flows of up to +300 ˚F in the standard package. By request, a filter with a temperature of up to +536 ˚F can be manufactured.

How It Works

How does a Vortex Vibro OP work
Contaminated air enters Vortex through an air pipe (or a gas pipe) into the dirty chamber, after which the dust particles settle onto the bags while the cleaned air passes through the bags and enters into the clean chamber, after which it exits the filter outside with the help of a fan or goes back into the facility.

The performance specification depends on the package elements. We create each project customized for the client bases on a detailed questionnaire on their industrial site and the nature of the dust.

A baghouse can be implemented in nontypical form depending on the client’s technical task.

MANAGEMENT AND CONTROL

Modifications, Size, and Drawings

A modification is a variation of a filter with a different number of modules. Adding modules entails a change in general performance, filtered air volume, dimensions, and other specifications.

The Vortex Vibro OP filter consists of one or multiple modules.

The recommended performance rate of a single module is no more than 3000 cfm. It is recommended to install an additional module (example in the drawing below).

Baghouse Design

Gas movement scheme inside and outside of the filter
  1. Contaminated air enters the dirty air chamber filter through the side flange. Large-sized dust particles settle down into the hopper. The contaminated air ends up in the filter bags. While passing along the bags, the air gets cleaned and dust particles settle on the inner side of the bag while the clean air leaves the filter outside or goes back into the factory.
  2. The air movement direction in the filter is bottom to top. Such a direction of air movement ensures a more even wear on the filter bags while also allowing more compact dimensions to be achieved.
  3. After that, the contaminated air passes along the bag and dust particles settle on the inner side of the bag while the clean air exits outside or back into the factory.

Round Filter Bags

Round bags made of non-woven material are included in the Vortex Vibro OP delivery package.

Sewn into the filter bags are steel rings, which increases the shaking amplitude in the regeneration process.

The round filter bags with vibration cleaning withstand a dust load of up to 30 ppm.
The bags can be manufactured out of the following materials: polyester, Met-Aramid, PPS, and anti-static effect material. The material for the filter bags is selected on a case-by-case basis, in accordance with the technical task.

Contaminated Air Entry via the Damper Plate

Our filter design helps our clients money by not having to replace the bags as often. Installed in front of the filters is a dust chamber so that the dust settles right down into the hopper and reduces the wear on the bags.


The dust chamber helps achieve a more even distribution of gas flow along all the filter bags, which extends the filters’ services life and improves air cleaning, since the load on the bags is even and allows for operational costs savings.

In its standard package, Vortex Vibro OP has aggregator boxes on wheels for dust and big bags.

Baghouse Management

Smart control automation ensures uninterrupted operation

Filter control is performed using a controller or a remote control. This system works in a closed cycle, but it can be reconfigured depending on the client's needs.
We propose packaging the filter with a completely automatic control system, analysis, fire extinguishing, etc. In the standard package, a temporary controller is installed and it can also be packaged with a Siemens controller depending on your needs.

Vibration Cleaning Filter System

Gradually, the internal portions of the bags become covered in dust, which increases the filter’s resistance. In order to prevent the resistance from getting too high, the filter elements must be cleaned every once in a while.
Vortex Vibro OP is equipped with a built-in vibrational cleaning mechanism. Vibrational cleaning of the dusty bags can be performed using periodic vibration. For that purpose, a vibration slab with a vibrating board is installed in the body of the filter.
The bags are shaken automatically based on a timer via specified time intervals. The length and period of the vibrational shaking are set independently via a controller installed on the vibration filter frame. The cleaning system doesn't have to be stopped for the filter bags to be cleaned.
The vibration motor shakes the planks which the filter bags are attached to. The dust settled on the bags falls into the hopper or other dust discharge system, which the filter is packaged with and is extracted by the dust discharge system customized for the specific filter.
