Wet Scrubber Description
The “Venturi Tornado-FB” scrubber with a two-stage cleaning system: the Venturi pressure tube and mass-exchanging column, inside which are random packing in an automatic irrigation system. It’s one of the most efficient scrubbers in the world. Gas is cleaned of dust, smoke, sprays, chemical bonds, and vapor.

Wet scrubber captures various dusts 0.1 µm in size or larger. The Venturi Tornado-FB, our advanced boiler scrubber model, effectively removes particulate matter, smoke, sprays, chemical compounds, and vapors from the gas stream, ensuring optimal air purification.
In order to capture smaller elements, we recommend various supplements, such as caustic soda etc. The supplements are selected on a case-by case basis depending on the air and gas mixture in the client's operation environment.

The Working Principle of Tornado Scrubber
The first level of cleaning: the air passes through the low-pressure Venturi tube and in this level, the contaminated air is irrigated with liquid along the movement course which leads to quick cleaning of the air flow. Second level: mass-exchanging packings are inside the column which additionally clean the flow where irrigation occurs against the air draft movement.

A modification is a filter variation with a different quantity of modules. Adding modules entails a change in general performance, filtered air volume, size, and other technical specifications .
The wet scrubber consists of one or multiple modules.
The recommended performance of a single module is no more than 30000 cfm. In order to increase the performance, it is required to install additional modules (see example in drawing below).

Scrubber Design
The "Venturi Tornado-FB" is a packed column scrubber featuring a vertical tower equipped with internal supporting grids that hold the packings. The irrigation system consists of one or multiple stages with atomizers installed inside the frame.
